Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Saturday 18 September 2010

Weekly HoroscopesHoroscopes
.

.

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) You're on shaky ground with a loved one. Beware of pushing them too hard, too fast. Your direct approach can feel threatening at times. Instead of being so intent on reaching your destination, slow down and enjoy the journey. Finances are precarious, too. You can't rely on a refund or legal settlement to arrive on time. Find an alternate source of income so you can pay your bills while waiting for this payment to arrive.

.

Taurus (Apr21/May21) You're tired of taking orders from your best friend, business partner, or lover. In the past, you were content to live and let live. Now you're starting to realise just how much this attitude has caused resentment. If one of you makes considerably more money than the other, you can't let that affect your relationship. Instead of splitting bills down the middle, arrange to pay the same percentage of household costs. It's the only way to bring equality back to your partnership.

.

Gemini (May22/Jun21) Lately, you've been burning the candle at both ends. It's important to slow down, even if a few of your colleagues are off sick. Pushing yourself too far will just make you ill, too. If you feel like you're coming down with a cold, take some time off or a minor condition could flare up into something serious. Resist the urge to go on a shopping spree or you'll add some expensive items to your wardrobe that you can't really afford. Wait for a sale.

.

Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Someone who was incessantly flirting with you suddenly loses interest. This may be a gambit for you to make the first move. Stay cool and let some time pass. It may develop that the object of your affection is hiding some disturbing facts. You deserve somebody who is principled and honourable. A youngster will have a setback at school. Spend more time on reviewing their homework. Spending quality time together will put your young friend back on track.

.

Leo (Jul24/Aug23) This isn't a good time to launch a home improvement project. There simply isn't money in the budget to do expensive repairs. Besides, a reliable plumber or electrician is busy with other jobs. Wait until their schedule clears up, or you'll be forced to hire someone who does shoddy work. A relative will ask for a loan. Although it pains you to turn them down, it's better than enabling their bad habits. Stay strong, for both of your sakes.

.

Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) A pessimistic outlook is turning opportunity away from your door. The next time someone comes to you with a problem, offer to work on it. Eventually, your imagination will kick in and you'll arrive at a solution that works for everybody. A relative or neighbour keeps criticising your behaviour, and these negative comments are wearing on your nerves. Explain how their attitude is affecting you, and ask for a little space. This is no time to have your confidence battered.

.

Libra (Sep24/Oct23) You're restless to spend some money, but there just aren't the resources to go on a shopping trip. At times like these, you need to do the best with what you have. Instead of throwing up your hands in despair, go to your closet and assemble an outfit out of existing pieces. Cover a shabby piece of furniture with new fabric. Make a meal out of leftovers. You'll be surprised at what you can do when you put your creativity to the test.

.

Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) Someone will try to take advantage of your kind heart, which makes you really angry. It's hard not to lash out at an unwitting victim, but try to find a better outlet for your frustrations. Go to the gym, clean out your closet, or do some outside work. Write an angry letter to the person who hurt you, then burn it. Sending such a communication will only come back to haunt you. Still, there's no reason you have to sit in silence. Respect your feelings in a healthy way.

.

Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Working in a vacuum is problematic; you do best when getting feedback from your peers. If you're not able to show your efforts to someone you trust, prepare several treatments for a single job. That way, your boss can choose the one they like best. A government agency won't be able to process a request for paperwork in a timely fashion. You need to be as proactive as possible with this situation, especially if there is a deadline involved.

.

Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) You're feeling a lot of peer pressure, which could prompt you to make a bad decision. Right now, you need to ask your heart, instead of doing what is popular. If you've fallen in love with someone who has a questionable past, you need to prepare yourself for the fallout. Several of your friends will feel threatened by your relationship and may try to talk you out of it. Alternatively, you might have to censure a relative for doing a bad job.

.

Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Assuming a high profile position won't be as glamorous as you thought. Each and every one of your decisions will be held up for public scrutiny. People who you thought were friends will suddenly become vocal critics. Normally, such a situation wouldn't bother you. This time around you can't help but feel like you're being raked over the coals. You need to develop a tougher skin if you're going to survive this assignment. Still, the sacrifices will pay off in the long run.

.

Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Just because you're stuck in a rut doesn't give you license to give up on your responsibilities. If you want to take a trip, you need to find someone to cover your shift, take care of your pets, and watch your young ones. Be sure to print out detailed instructions on doing each job, and leave a contact number or you'll put your substitute in a bad situation. The more prepared you are, the easier it will be to take a trip or join the educated masses.
