Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes: Thursday 12th August 2010

Weekly HoroscopesHoroscopes

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) A competitor's success makes you hunger all the more to get to the top. It's early days and some people haven't yet realised your true capabilities. If you discard some old fears, phobias or hang ups you will experience a sense of liberation. You want to make progress and do better and get to the next level and through putting any past mistakes or failures behind you; you stand a better chance of achieving your aims and getting where you want to go.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) The need to repair or replace a domestic appliance could put a dint in your finances. If your bank balance can stand the strain, this probably won't bother you. If it will stretch your resources beyond what you are comfortable with, hold back. A new friend or colleague might offer to do you a favour that gives you a few hours to catch up on personal affairs. Think over a proposition before giving a firm answer.
 .
Gemini (May22/June21) When and where there is tension, using your sense of humour and encouraging others to do likewise should work perfectly. If it seems like a job is getting too much for everyone to handle, slow down the pace and keep difficult people at arm's length. Being allowed to focus on your work without complaints or distractions makes it more likely you will find a solution to the problem. An incident later in the day is surprisingly emotional.
 .
Cancer (June22/July23) A lot of work and activity keeps you tied up at home; all the effort is intended to bring improvements to your life. Putting ideas to brighten the home into operation will at first turn everything upside down. Make no mistake about it, there is a lot to do and you will be exhausted by the end of it. Even so, the company around you will be adequate compensation and you can rely on others to help in the dreaded clearing up stakes that follow!
 .
Leo (July24/Aug23) An invitation or suggestion involving travel, a day's trip or holiday will need full consideration before you commit yourself. The reason you're one of the first to be consulted is because others expect you to make all the arrangements and do all the organising. If you aren't sure you have the time or inclination, ask to sleep on the matter or just turn it down!
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sept23) Romantic plans or group activities could, if you aren't careful, cost you a lot of money. Even if a check of your accounts reveals an encouraging picture, do you really want to spend a crazy amount of cash on here today and gone tomorrow pleasures? You could still have fun without having to splash out unnecessarily. Something creative and artistic will bring you happiness this evening.
 .
Libra (Sept24/Oct23) When it comes to handling your personal affairs, follow your instincts; they won't lead you astray. There are a number of issues to do with your current position or situation you would dearly love to alter. This may upset or annoy those people who are happy with the status quo. Your needs are just as important as theirs. Someone's attitude will get on your nerves but you will handle the situation well.
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) Everything you have to deal with should be approached from a factual angle. Avoid any form of speculation and guard against acting on first impressions. Elect the most sensible and practical strategies in your long term financial and business planning. That way you could end up better off both in money and career by this time next year. Friends are helpful, especially in the evening when conversations are extremely interesting.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) As the day kicks off you might not like the way others expect you to go along with their decisions. Initially it will seem like you're being asked to give more than you're getting back in return. If this is in a work situation, have a word with your boss. If you are the boss, delegate! At home insist everyone does their fair share of household chores. You aren't in the mood to put yourself out for those who do very little at the best of times.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) You've always had your own way of doing things; you would rather stick with these today. Others might want to experiment, try new technology or have ideas on how to make life easier. You aren't impressed by what they come up with. The support of a senior colleague could sway things your way. You might wonder why they're encouraging you and not others but don't look for ulterior motives. Appreciate their backing while you can.
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) If the boss or someone you see every day is being obtuse and inflexible, now is not the time to show you've noticed. Instead, paste on a smile, get on with what you have to do and prove by your actions that you aren't letting their mood bother you. The sensible way you handle the situation will count in your favour in time to come when others will admit to having caused problems because of their crabby mood and stubbornness!
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) If you're thinking about making a long term commitment of a joint nature don't be reluctant to ask questions. There are some odd queries lurking in the back of your mind that you're hesitant to bring out in the open. To hold them back may lead to future regrets. Discuss everything in full now while you have the chance and then you will feel happier and more certain of the decisions you make.

.
Good Day,

I have been in search of someone so when I saw you I was pushed to contact you and see how best we can assist each other. I am Mr. Ese Nana, a Banker here in our branch office in Accra Ghana, But our head office is in U.A. E. I believe it is the wish of God for me to come across you. I am having an important business discussion I wish to share with you which I believe will interest you.

One Dead BAHA HUSAM, a citizen of Dubai had a fixed deposit with my bank in 2004 for 36 calendar months, valued at Eighteen Million, Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars (US$18,500.000) the due date for this deposit contract was this 16 of January 2007. Sadly BAHA HUSAM was among the death victims in the May 26 2006 Earthquake disaster in Jawa, Indonesia that killed over 5,000 people. He was in Indonesia on a business trip and that was how he met his end.

My bank management is yet to know about his death, I knew about it because he was my friend and I am his account officer. My clint did not mention any Next of Kin/ Heir when the account was opened, and he was not married and no children. Last week my Bank Management requested that  should give instructions on what to do about his funds, if to renew the contract.

I know this will happen and that is why I have been looking for a means to handle the situation, because if my Bank Directors happens to know that BAHA HUSAM is dead and do not have any Heir, they will take the funds for their personal use, so I don't want such to happen. That is why am now seeking your co-operation to present you as Next of Kin/ Heir to the account, and my bank will release the account to you. There is no risk involved; the transaction will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of law.

It is better that we claim the money, than allowing the Bank Directors to take it, they are rich already. I am not a greedy person, so I am suggesting we share the funds equal, 50/50% to both parties, my share will assist me to start my own Business in your country . Let me know your mind on this and please do treat this information as TOP SECRET. We shall go over the details once I receive your urgent response.

Regards,
Mr.Ese Nana.

Goldbug100 Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFU.L) more sales in the USA in the near future should help share price move upwards

Ceramic Fuel Cells (CFU.L) - The fund is showing a paper loss on this holding. It took up the rights issue and regrets having not increased it´s holding in the Australian alternative energy company just after this. It has subsequently added to the holding at under 10p so that the average price including costs is 21.08p. At the time of writing the price is 12.02p + 0.12% in a falling market. At the time of the last purchase the company started making Company Announcemts of the sales (example below). With the Obama Admistration move into alternative engergy we would not be suprised to see more sales in the USA. Company Announcement

Ceramic Fuel Cells secures first USA sale

Major California utility to demonstrate
BlueGen Gas-to-Electricity Generator

Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM/ASX: CFU) – a leading developer of high efficiency and low emission electricity generation units for homes and other buildings – today announced its first BlueGen product sale in the United States to one of the United States’ largest energy companies.

Ceramic Fuel Cells will install a BlueGen gas-to-electricity generator at the energy utility’s engineering center in California . The BlueGen unit is scheduled to be installed in September 2010.

Ceramic Fuel Cells’ local partner, California-based Smart Hybrid Systems, Inc., will provide local installation and support services, including integrating the BlueGen unit with thermal and electrical management systems as well as metering equipment.  Smart Hybrid Systems, a US energy appliance manufacturer, also plans to develop innovative hybrid fuel cell and energy storage products utilizing the Ceramic Fuel Cells solid oxide fuel cell as the core generator of electricity and heat.

About the size of a dishwasher, BlueGen is the latest breakthrough in small scale electricity generation.  BlueGen uses patented fuel cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat with very high efficiency.  BlueGen units can generate electricity at a peak electrical efficiency of 60 percent, far higher than any other technology in the large global market for small scale electricity generation.  When heat is recovered for hot water, total efficiency is up to 85 percent – twice as efficient as the current power grid.

By generating power close to where it is used, Ceramic Fuel Cells’ products can meet the future demand for low emission electricity without the need for huge investments in electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure.

Brendan Dow, Ceramic Fuel Cells’ Managing Director said: “It is a great achievement for us to have made our first BlueGen sale in the United States , to one of the largest utilities in the country.  Together with our existing sales in Europe, Japan and Australia , this sends a strong message about the size of the global markets that Ceramic Fuel Cells is targeting.  It is exciting for us that large utilities not only in the USA but throughout the western world are investing seriously in low-emission power generation.”

Since late 2009 Ceramic Fuel Cells has secured orders for 50 BlueGen units from other major utilities and foundation customers in Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia, including E.ON Ruhrgas (the largest gas utility in Germany), the German Gas Association, and Osaka Gas (the second largest gas utility in Japan).

Ceramic Fuel Cells is also operating fully integrated power and heating products with leading energy companies E.ON UK (the second largest electricity retailer in the United Kingdom), GdF Suez (the largest gas utility in France) and EWE in Germany.
