Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Friends have been overly demanding, and you're a little tired of it. The next time somebody asks for a loan or forgets to return your property, issue an ultimatum. You simply can't continue to part with your valuables for the sake of making everyone else happy. Fortunately, people can tell when you mean business, and will stop coming to you for help at the first time of distress. Your attitude may seem callous, but it's the result of trying circumstances.
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Lots of secrecy surrounds your workplace, and you can't seem to crack the code. Beware of a rival who may be trying to steal your thunder. If a promotion becomes available, be ready to try for it. You may want to ask a career counsellor about putting together a portfolio of work samples and improving your interviewing skills. You may think you have an accurate idea of your strengths and weaknesses, but an objective opinion is critical during such times.
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Getting the training or experience you need may be elusive. You'll have to take some remedial classes or reapply to a program before getting the green light. In the meantime, don't be discouraged. Apply for scholarships and government grants, and ask influential friends to write letters of recommendation. Family is very supportive right now. Let your nearest and dearest pamper you with home cooked meals, kind words, and evenings out on the town. These welcome distractions will keep pessimism at bay.
Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Identity theft is a huge problem and you could become a victim if you don't take basic precautions. Update your passwords so they won't be easily guessed. Keep your credit cards in a safe place, and don't reveal personal information to inquisitive acquaintances. You might also want to install a firewall on your computer. Your best friend, business contact or romantic partner is urging you to improve your financial situation. Take their career advice and work on your negotiating skills.
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) Somebody is sending mixed signals, and you don't appreciate it. You're the type who needs to know where you stand in order to be happy. A good way to force your tormentor's hand is to plunge yourself into work. Sinking your teeth into a challenging project will take your mind off your troubles and give you a welcome outlet for your creative skills. If you play your cards right, you can even sell the fruits of your labour and have some extra cash for luxuries.
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) It's possible some medication is having some negative side effects. If you don't feel up to par, talk to a medical professional about adjusting the levels. Give a thorough list of everything you take, as well as your dietary and sleep habits. All these things can combine to compromise your sense of wellbeing. It's become impossible to deny your feelings towards someone special any longer. You'll either have to act on your feelings or put some distance between you and the object of your affection.
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Being in love with love is all well and good, but it can get you in trouble when it comes to real relationships. Fairy tales are imaginary. If you're going to join hearts with someone, you have to accept the bad with the good. Part of the problem is the way you were raised. You may not have had healthy examples to follow. Counselling can help. Be willing to challenge your attitudes towards romance. Learning to enjoy solitude will make you happier, too.
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You want to distance yourself from your emotions for fear of getting hurt. Until you're able to admit the depth of your feelings, your relationships will suffer. If you're getting over a toxic romance, think about taking a short trip. Getting a change of scenery will give you a new lease on life. It might also prompt you to take a class after you read a local magazine or newspaper. Architecture, archaeology and ancient history are among the subjects that appeal to you now.
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Check your calendar before heading out, or you could miss an important appointment. Also be careful about sending hasty text messages or emails that might be misunderstood, especially if you're communicating with your boss or an important client. Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) You're living in a fantasy world, which gets you in trouble with love. If you continue putting your amour on a pedestal, he or she will ultimately disappoint you. Is it time for the dollar index to rally?
The dollar index, which put in a strong performance in the
first six months of the year, pulled back from its recent
highs and appears to be in defensive mode.
If you are not familiar with the US dollar index (USDX), it
is an index, or measure, of the value of the United States
dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies.

Its weighted geometric mean of the dollar's value is compared
with these currencies in the following percentages:
* Euro (EUR), 57.6% weight
* Japanese yen (JPY), 13.6% weight
* Pound sterling (GBP), 11.9% weight
* Canadian dollar (CAD), 9.1% weight
* Swedish krona (SEK), 4.2% weight
* Swiss franc (CHF) 3.6% weight
In this short educational video, I point out what we see in the
dollar index and the reason why we think a potential rally may
be in the foreseeable future.
