Tony Hayward's £1.3m + villa in Andalucia Spain - What is you opinion? Please leave below

Sir Fred the Shred recently spent £3.5m on a new dwelling in Edinburgh. Now Tony Hayward spends £1.3m on his Andalucia Villa + renovation and furnishing becoming a neighbor of mine - Well say 100+ kms

RBS shareholders (5 year graph) have been robbed of their income (dividends) by Sir Fred Goodwin running of the Bank RBS

BP shareholders (1 years graph) have been robbed of their income (dividends) by Tony Hayward´s incompetence, for the blame does stop at the top. Shareholders were assured that dividends could be paid as well as covering the oil spill costs (Was this a Porkie Pie - Cockney for lie?) Meanwhile he continues to draw a substancial salary and presumably will receive a handsome golden handshake if his servicees are terminated after his legacy is cleaned up in the Gulf of Mexico
as rumored in the press

David Cameron Britain´s PM is looking for up to 40% savings. Yes he should protect BP from Obama´s onslaught but what does he have to say about Tony Hayward? From an article in the Olive Press in Spain published prior to the exclusive News of the World article published today. I understand from the artilce in the Olive Press that the villa was purchased in his wife´s name, for obvious reasons I would comment!

The new government in Britain want to charge shareholders a 40% capital gains tax on profits. Funny this figure crops up again I wonder why? I have mentioned the loss of dividends but not the loss of capital. If you tax 40% of the profits you must pay 40% of the loss. The tax has to be paid in cash so should the loss I respectfully submit - not a tax credit.

What is you opinion? Please leave below

Read the News of the World Article

Maybe someone will twitter a house warming party to which all BP shareholders will be welcome!

Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Sunday 4 July 2010

Weekly HoroscopesHoroscopes
Saturday 3 July - Saturday 10 July - Saturday 17 July - Saturday 24 July - Saturday 31 July

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Your loved ones are quite unsympathetic to your plight. As far as they are concerned, you get to do what you want, when you want. The truth is a little different, but that won't change their opinion. Stop complaining out loud and scribble your frustrations in a diary. Having a private outlet will keep anxiety at bay. It will also prevent resentment from building. Right now, you need all the allies you can get. You'll need a few babysitters so you can attend an upcoming project.

.

Taurus (Apr21/May21) Playing the martyr won't get you anywhere. In fact, it could create unseen enemies who will do everything in their power to block your way. If you're having trouble with a friend, address the problem directly. Give examples of their problematic behaviour, and explain why it bothers you. The less emotional you are, the more seriously you will be taken. If the two of you do have a quarrel, your friendship may be permanently damaged. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise.

.

Gemini (May22/Jun21) Joining a group will cause unexpected headaches. You're better off keeping your own counsel, but it is sure to take longer to reach your goal. Fortunately, you're talented enough to make a success of the project at hand. If you combine forces with others, you'll have to compromise until its impact is entirely diluted. If you owe a friend money, you need to pay it back as soon as possible, or your relationship will fall by the wayside. That would be a tragedy.

.

Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Assuming a public role will be more trouble than it is worth. Your personal life demands the lion's share of your attention. Pass up this promotion for the sake of your family. Spending more time with your nearest and dearest will give life a sense of purpose and meaning. Right now, your identity is being formed by the work you perform. It should be shaped by the relationships you hold. Try not to treat your relatives like lowly office assistants. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.

.

Leo (Jul24/Aug23) Imposing your beliefs on others will result in disaster. You need to be a little more open minded if you're going to work with a large group. Some members of your team seem distracted and unfocused. When this attitude seeps into their work, you can say something. As far as their personal lives are concerned you have to keep quiet. Nobody likes to be preached to, especially in a professional environment. Keep your judgements to yourself and focus on doing the best job you can.

.

Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Your intensity is driving potential allies away. You need to tone down your act, even if you're bursting to share your ideas with the world. Having a creative outlet can be helpful. Playing music, writing, or painting helps you put down on paper what you can never say aloud. A romance is starting to show signs of wear and tear. A temporary separation gives you the chance to reconsider whether this relationship is worth your time. You may prefer to go solo.

.

Libra (Sep24/Oct23) The companionship you crave is elusive and everybody is too wrapped up in their own troubles to come to your aid. It looks as if you'll have to tackle a difficult task all by yourself. If you're not sure how to proceed, go online for a crash course. Whether it's fixing a tyre or cooking a meal, you can find some really helpful material. The more you exercise your independence, the easier it will be to find a partner. Self-sufficiency is an enormously attractive trait.

.

Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You need to take better care of your health, getting enough sleep is critical to your wellbeing. If insomnia is plaguing you, there are steps you can take to combat the problem. Stop eating four hours before bedtime. Listen to the same piece of soothing music at the same time each night. Comforting routines will lull you into a sense of relaxation, making it easier to forget your troubles and succumb to sleep. Resist the urge to read or watch television before retiring.

.

Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) It's not easy to trust people with your most cherished possessions. It may be better to cancel an appointment than throw caution to the wind. A youngster who has been having difficulty at school needs your care and attention. By scaling back your work schedule, you'll be able to get to the root of the problem. If you've recently embarked on a romance, refrain from introducing your partner to your family until your relationship is more secure.

.

Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) You're determined to settle an argument in your family, but one of the warring parties refuses to listen to reason. Instead of putting yourself in the middle of this fight, sit back and let Fate take its course. You can't control other people. If somebody insists on choosing money over loyalty, there's nothing you can do about it. Time will reward your sensible attitude, but right now you're starting to wonder whether it's better to act in your own interests. It's not! Continue to take the high road.

.

Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Be very selective when making friends. Someone who seems gracious and kind has an ulterior motive. You have lots of contacts that can benefit this newcomer. Don't write a letter of recommendation or put in a good word with the boss until you've had more time to observe their character. Resist the urge to buy something expensive. You won't be satisfied with the product once you bring it home, and may have difficulty returning it for a full refund.

.

Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) Trying to be all things to all people will only bring disappointment. A relative or neighbour won't appreciate the sacrifices you make on their behalf. On the contrary, they will take advantage of your generosity until you don't have anything else to offer. Protect your interests, even at the risk of seeming callous to outsiders. If you lent a cherished object to somebody a few weeks ago, ask for it back. You've been more than patient. If it's been damaged, get a replacement.

Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Saturday 3 July 2010

.

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) You need to be more conscientious with your nearest and dearest. Irresponsible behaviour is causing your loved ones time, aggravation, and money. It's time to set aside your childish ways and assume more responsibility. If that means taking a second job, contributing more money to household finances, or breaking a bad habit, so be it. Taking the initiative will cause your star to rise. Apply for work or get medical attention. The sooner you act, the stronger your relationships will be.

.

Taurus (Apr21/May21) Don't insist on working while everyone else is intent on having fun. A disapproving attitude will spoil a perfectly good time. You need to reflect on why you're so irritated by a loved one's light hearted attitude. Maybe it's because you have been depriving yourself of pleasure. Stop acting like a martyr. If you have too much on your plate, redistribute your duties among relatives and roommates. Let some jobs fall by the wayside. Make more time for the people and activities you love.

.

Gemini (May22/Jun21) Fear of the unknown is preventing you from making an important change. You need to break away from a stifling relationship. Someone who has been telling you what to do and think has prevented you from fulfilling your potential. Throw caution to the wind and do something really daring. Find a course on an impractical subject. Move to a neighbourhood that is entirely different from the one you are used to. Make time for people who challenge your ideas about life.

.

Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) It will be difficult to get the training or assistance you need. The course may be full or a teacher could be sick. Instead of focusing on your disappointment, make a different plan. An unexpected career opportunity will fall in your lap. Taking this position will require you to work overseas. Although it pains you to move away from friends and family, this would be a wonderful change. You'll be able to develop your leadership skills while seeing the world.

.

Leo (Jul24/Aug23) The financial security you crave is beyond your reach right now. Don't worry; you will be able to build a nest egg later on. At the moment you have to spend money to make money. Taking a gamble will pay off handsomely, but it may take years to see a profit. Meanwhile, abandon yourself to a passionate romance. A trim athlete can't keep their hands off you. This affair is so exciting that it may cause you to forget your responsibilities. Who cares? You're having fun!

.

Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Don't let an inferiority complex get in the way of applying for an important job. You're the most capable person in your organisation. By taking the weekend to spruce up your CV and gathering your work samples, you can grab the top spot. Enlist the aid of a cosmopolitan friend who knows how to make a good impression. With their help, you can create a work profile that will bring would be employers to your door.

.

Libra (Sep24/Oct23) You won't be able to get the solitude you crave. Well meaning friends, neighbours and relatives have a way of dropping in at the most inopportune moments. The best bet may be to give in gracefully to their demands for your company. A romantic partner or best friend may have a special surprise for you. Although you're uncomfortable accepting lavish gifts, this tribute may be the exception to the rule. You can't bring yourself to pass up a pair of concert or movie tickets!

.

Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) If there is a dreaded chore ahead, you need to avoid a pessimistic pal like the plague or they'll plant all sorts of anxious fears in your head you wouldn't usually entertain. Hitting the gym will keep anxiety at bay. It's amazing how brisk activity can take your mind off problems. A mechanical breakdown may force you to cancel a trip or take in an appliance for repairs. Try not to panic. This last minute change of plans will result in a creative breakthrough.

.

Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Try not to take a dictatorial attitude towards your family. Instead of giving a disorganised relative an important job, tackle the task yourself. That way, you won't be setting anyone up for failure. Don't worry, you will find some work more suited to their particular talents. They'll be happy to contribute in a positive and helpful but non-interfering way. Someone may be taking a very judgmental attitude towards your living arrangements.

.

Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) It's important to see the forest for the trees, especially when it comes to an ethical matter. Instead of following the letter of the law, bend the rules to accommodate the needs of the group. Your approach may be unorthodox, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Your family will appreciate your efforts to accommodate them, and will shield you from punishment. Resist the temptation to use your charms to influence a money matter or your reputation will suffer.

.

Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) You need to work on your relationship skills if you're ever going to enjoy true intimacy. Sharing your resources with another is a matter of developing healthy habits and open communication. You and a partner will have differing attitudes about work, sex and money, but that's part of the excitement. By striking a balance, the two of you can move mountains. A last minute deal on technical equipment allows you to afford a high end computer, mobile phone or PDA.

.

Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) A partnership feels very restrictive, but resist the urge to bolt; the best things in life require an element of sacrifice. You may have to double your workload while a friend, lover or roommate moves on somewhere new. Alternatively, you might feel compelled to break a bad habit for the sake of your union. Whatever you decide, it's important to remember your progress will be gradual. Be patient and keep your eyes on the prize. A lucrative job is just around the corner.

anna chapman - married to Englishman from Bournemouth where I studied architecture!

  • A British man who claims he was married to alleged Russian spy Anna Chapman has been speaking about their relationship.

Alex Chapman told the Daily Telegraph he met Ms Chapman at a London party and married her five months later in 2002.

He said he was "not surprised" by the arrest; his former wife said her father had once been high up in the KGB.

Ten alleged members of a Russian spy ring were arrested in the US and one in Cyprus after an FBI inquiry. Bail hearings are currently taking place.

They were charged with conspiracy to act as unlawful agents of a foreign government, a crime which carries up to five years in prison.

Publicist Max Clifford said Mr Chapman, who was married to Ms Chapman for four years, said his former wife had become "increasingly distant" and "increasingly secretive" as their marriage progressed.

    Film premieres

"The relationship changed and she became more and more distant, and spent more of her time mixing with the very rich and powerful people, going to film premieres," Mr Clifford told the BBC.

He said Mr Chapman had told him his former wife's father had had a "huge influence" on her and was "at heart of everything she did".

Mr Chapman, 30, from Bournemouth, Dorset, was questioned by MI5 about his relationship with Anna Chapman on Wednesday.

The BBC's security correspondent Gordon Corera said MI5 and the FBI were in talks and the "key question" was whether Anna Chapman had been active as an undercover Russian agent in the UK.

  • The euro makes a stand

After dipping just below the 1.20 level, the euro had a brief rally that pushed this currency back up to the 1.24/1.25 area. This corrective rally did not change the longer-term outlook for this market.

Gold closes out Q2 on the plus side

The gold market has had a lot of publicity and been under intense scrutiny lately as investors, both conservative (Glenn Beck) and liberal (George Soros), are weighing in and recommending a position in gold.

Certainly the trend in gold remains positive, however there are some possible early chinks in the gold armor that I want to bring to your attention in this short video.

Downside targets for the S&P 500

In this short video, we share with you the downside targets that we have independently arrived at for this index.

This video is short and to the point, but you will see exactly what we're looking at. The chart pattern and downside counts are similar for all of the equity markets and I believe that this Friday we will see exactly what's going to happen.

Summer Sheer's and Festival Fashion from MyTights

    Bare Leg Look Sheer Tights

It’s that time of year when it’s too warm to keep those thick winter tights on, but we’re just not quite ready to bare our legs yet! The solution is ultra sheer tights – they act almost like make up for your legs – leaving them looking completely natural and yet flawless – no-one will know you’re wearing tights! Our favourites are Falke’s Shelina range which have no elastane but still give stretch and recovery. They are available in a variety of styles including toeless (for that truly bare look) and hipster tights. For a little luxury try Wolford’s Luxe 9 tights, which at only 9 denier will give you a really nude finish. For a more affordable option take a look Pretty Polly’s naturals range, a favourite being the toeless variety.

    Festival Fashion

Glastonbury was a scorcher this year, and here at MyTights we have loved checking out all the summer festival fashion! Style icon Kate Moss was spotted in her festival favourites – denim hot pants, this year teamed with fishnet tights rather than wellies! We also saw our new fashion crush Emma Watson with over knee socks peeping over her wellies (even in that heat!). Being one of Henry Holland's best friends, Pixie Geldof managed to get her hands on two different pairs of next seasons Henry Holland knee high socks for the festival (keep your eyes peeled for their arrival at MyTights.com later this year!).

Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Friday 2 July 2010

    ,

Aries (Mar21/Apr20) Don't interfere with someone else's job, no matter how much you're tempted. Although you're certain you can do better, your helpful hints will not be appreciated. You don't realise all the aspects involved with this job. If you did, you'd be far less critical. In the meantime, beware of overdoing it at the gym. A vigorous workout will result in an injury. Gentle exercise like yoga, swimming, or walking will keep you fit without putting undue strain on your muscles.

    .

Taurus (Apr21/May21) Your competitive spirit is evident to everyone but beware of challenging someone to a contest. Your friend isn't interested in comparing their skills to yours. In fact, he'd rather let sleeping dogs lie. By pressing the issue, you'll become a nuisance. A rival will win the heart of someone you admire. Try not to dwell on your disappointment. There are other fish in the sea. Besides, you secretly enjoy being single right now. It allows you to do what you want, when you want.

    .

Gemini (May22/Jun21) People aren't following protocol, and it makes you really angry. Resist the temptation to vent your disapproval, or you will be labelled a spoilsport. Relaxing the rules helps everybody to work together without too much fuss. Resources are few and everyone is being asked to go above and beyond the call of duty. By looking the other way at unorthodox practices, you'll establish yourself as part of the team. Your colleagues will prove helpful sooner than you think.

    .

Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Beware of jumping to conclusions, or you could put an innocent party on the defensive. Although it's tempting to believe the worst of an enemy or rival, they could be totally blameless. It may be impossible to find a use for your hard earned knowledge. If your boss asks you to do a menial job, just get on with it without complaint. Right now, everybody has to make sacrifices for the sake of the group. Putting on airs will make enemies of people who ought to be your allies.

    .

Leo (Jul24/Aug23) You need to budget carefully if you're going to stay out of debt. Resist the urge to buy expensive convenience foods. You're much better off planning a menu for the week ahead and cooking nourishing meals that can be served up for a few days. Avoid your favourite shops, as the temptation to go on a shopping spree will be too strong to resist. Don't feel pressured into buying a loved one a token of your affection. Your loyalty and devotion are more precious than gold.

    .

Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Being too assertive won't work with a loving partner. If you're going to make any headway in this relationship, you need to have a more conciliatory attitude. By deferring to their needs, you'll establish yourself as a thoughtful, considerate lover. This may not make much of an impression at first, but in time, you'll emerge as the top contender for your beloved's heart. Be patient and resist the urge to issue ultimatums. Slow and steady wins the race!

    .

Libra (Sep24/Oct23) You're tired of working in obscurity, but there's really no other choice. Commanding the spotlight will only create resentment. There's a feeling among your colleagues you haven't paid your dues. Talent doesn't enter into it. If you're going to win a top spot, you need to roll up your sleeves and do some dirty work. Then, after a few weeks, you'll be given bigger and better assignments. Until then, console yourself with the knowledge you are making progress.

    .

Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) You won't make many friends by pressing a social issue. While your passion is admirable, very few people share it. You think this is a mark of laziness, but that's because you're not looking at the full picture. Everybody has a pet cause. Yours is just different from the rest of the group. If you want to make a difference, align yourself with an organisation devoted to this issue, instead of trying to convert everyone to your point of view.

    .

Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Although it seems like the people at the top are getting away with murder, that's not really the case. Continue to obey your ideals and stop focusing on everyone else's bad behaviour. In time, you'll realise there are many more honest people than dishonest ones. Eventually, the one bad egg in your organisation will be exposed and punished. You'll be in a perfect position to take their place. Accept this position, but be wary of all the temptations it affords.

    .

Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) You're worried about a relative's moral character. Sermonising about their behaviour will only compound the problem. Nobody likes to be lectured. If you want to make your displeasure known, put your relationship on hold until they change their tune. Before you give them the cold shoulder you may want to consider whether you're being priggish or unfair. Put the problem to a few friends whose opinions you respect. It's possible you're not being open-minded when you need to be.

    .

Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Powerful passions prompt you to come on strong with someone who has taken your fancy. Unfortunately, your amour doesn't share your feelings. If you're going to win their heart, you need to slow down your approach. Try becoming their friend before taking sexual liberties. After learning what makes them tick, you may decide you aren't a good match, after all. Things aren't always what they appear to be at first sight so take the time to find out the truth before you take the plunge.

    .

Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) You won't take 'No' for an answer, so is it any wonder people find you annoying? If you want to make a good impression, you need to back off, but if your first priority is to make a sale you'll have to stick to your guns come what may. As a general rule, most don't see you as a formidable contender. They haven't seen how determined you can be. You're not afraid to be rude and obnoxious if it means getting what you want
