Love From Beyond...

A reading heals grief
Source: California Psychics

Sometimes a psychic's experience during a reading can be as fascinating and mesmerizing as the client's. There can be profound learning experiences about life and the afterlife, and the everlasting nature of love, explains Darcy ext. 9488, a Channel Medium. She confides that even after giving readings for 30 years, it still surprises her when the unexpected occurs during a call.

Early one afternoon, the psychic relates, she recognized the smooth, low, friendly voice of a caller who gave his name as Julian (not his real name). He had consulted with her once before regarding his career. A working actor in New York with psychic abilities and the gift of prophetic dreams, Julian wondered, "With jobs harder to come by, several friends have asked if I would do paid in-depth readings for them, but I just don't know. There are so many reasons not to do it - and reasons to do it. I don't really need the money, and I don't want people to begin thinking of me as an intuitive, rather than an actor."

"This call was interesting from the start," Darcy reported as she described the energy she received from Julian. "I got a very perky feeling as we spoke about his career - and yet he was actually quite solemn."

As Darcy focused on the actor, she understood that he had suffered much personal loss. Working as an Empath would affect him emotionally - and not in a good way. It would be too hard on him to take on the work, which involves feeling what others feel, she suggested.

"I think you're right," he responded thoughtfully. "I didn't know exactly what I was feeling, but I think you went right to the heart of my concerns, Darcy. I'm not in a good place right now. I just lost a close friend, an actor who died too young, and who suffered significantly. You may have read about her in the papers. And I've had this dream I want to discuss with you - in my dream, my cousin - who also died, a year ago - was taking a picture of me and the friend who just passed away."

Darcy heard a voice in her head filled with laughter, and got a picture of a beautiful high-rise office, which she described to Julian, as well as the sensation of feeling very beautiful and being surrounded by expensive fabrics. "I told Julian that I felt a very different presence - lighthearted, bubbling happiness. I felt it was the one who had guided me to his first message."

"You're getting someone from the other side?"

"Yes. He's telling me that you need to be in a relationship - and something about your clothes…"

"Hmmm… Reed? He was an immaculate dresser," Julian confirmed.

"Did you grow up together? He's showing me a picture of you as a boy on a skateboard - with your cap on backward. He says you were always the jock."

Julian laughed, "Not quite the jock, but I was definitely into sports. He was always into clothes."

"You were very, very close. He says he always had to keep an eye on you," Darcy related.

"Well he thought that, because he's six months older than I am. Our moms both worked, so my grandmother watched us. We were like brothers, until…" Julian paused.

"He says he's still keeping an eye on you."

"Okay, so now, I have tears in my eyes. I miss him every day."

"He's opening up your closet doors, he has sweats thrown over his shoulder, he wants to get rid of them."

Julian relaxed a bit, enjoying the familiarity of the exchange. "He never liked the way I dressed. I suppose he's telling you that's why I don't have a relationship."

"He says you look for dates in all the wrong places."

"Where should I look?"

"The golf course," Darcy conveyed.

Just then the one-minute beep warned Julian and Darcy that the reading was about to end, and Julian repeated, "Tell him I love him, I miss him, I wish… " and then there was silence.

Darcy was still thinking about what had just occurred as she got up to get a fresh cup of coffee. Reed was tagging along behind her, she realized, letting her know that he was still concerned about Julian, when her CaliforniaPsychics.com line rang. It was Julian again.

"Oh good, Reed is still here, worrying about you. You need a relationship..."

"Ah. I'm just not into it," he said sounding somewhat futile. "Everyone leaves you…"

Darcy got a picture of Reed in a hospital bed, all skin and bones, hooked up to machines - with Julian right there with him.

"So is this how you remember me? What about all of those years of good times…" Reed ranted to his cousin. "You promised me you'd live out my life out for me. You're going to live to be 93!"

And then the one-minute beep went off again… this time, Julian was silent as the time ran out.

When Darcy's line rang next, she knew it would be Julian again.

"Okay so tell Reed I'm remembering the living to be 93 stuff - but I'm not sure about changing my wardrobe. I will keep my eyes open for someone at the golf course." In the minutes that were left, Julian spoke of his appreciation for his cousin's watchful eye.

"And before this call ends, Darcy, thanks a million. I can't tell you how much better I feel."

And Darcy, ecstatic from what had just occurred in a little over an hour's time, thought as their third and final call came to a close, "And thank you for the opportunity to share a glimpse into your amazing bond of love."

Whilst studying Architecture at Bournemouth College of Art!

I used to hire paddle steamers and promote Jazz. The first event was in 1960 and was an outstanding success. I promoted this with fellow student Mike Ross from Winton if my memory serves me correct.

With my share of the profit I took a cross channel ferry, a train to Paris and then another to Madrid.

I arrived unannounced at the doorstep of a Spanish Senorita that I had met the previous summer holidays whilst working as a waiter in a Swanage hotel to help pay for my architectural studies.

We enjoyed "cuba libres" on the Calle Serano and dancing in the Retiro Park:-)

As you will see from the 2 tickets above I carried on promoting with a partner the trombone player with the Gerry Brown Jazzmen. I had suggested to him, Stewart Gledhill that Gerry Brown recorded a version of "The Green Fields of Summer" from The Alamo. He did not listen and Kenny Ball recorded it and it was an instant success making this traditional jazz band. They obviously wanted more that the seventy five pound fee agreed, but there was a contract that they could not break.

Weekly LoveCast™

"Romance has many faces " by Cortney Litwin

Source: California Psychics

A line-up of romantic influences makes Monday the best day for love this week. Romance moves from intense to adventurous midweek. Venus transiting into cozy Cancer on Friday favors entertaining at home this weekend, although an opposition from power-hungry Pluto on Saturday can bring out your inner beast - not necessarily in a good way - especially if you're an Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.

Week of July 27 - August 2, 2009

Cancer: Sharing your creativity by throwing a party can bring delight on Monday. Passion escalates toward the middle of the week! You're feeling edgy on Friday, but Venus entering your sign makes you a magnet for romance, and heightens your creativity throughout August. Romance feels unstable on Saturday, but a soulful rendezvous can deepen love on Sunday.

Leo: Your words are especially eloquent on Monday while you're flirting on the social front, and promoting your ideas on the work front. You get results! A trip can bring opportunities as well. You're feeling willful on Tuesday. A sexy rendezvous brings fun into your life on Thursday. Your partner is irritated easily on Friday and Saturday. Helpfulness inspires love on Sunday.

Virgo: Share your wit and wisdom to inspire romance on Monday - a moneymaking opportunity may land in your lap as well. Wednesday is hot! However, relationship chaos can unhinge you on Tuesday and Thursday, so strive to stay centered. Mixed messages throw love off-balance on Saturday. Romance escalates delightfully on Sunday.

Libra: You're simply irresistible on Monday, so plan a get-together with friends, or whisk your sweetie away to someplace sexy and chic! Also, love may come from afar or during a spiritual activity. Flirting heats up on Thursday, but rash words disrupt love on Friday or Saturday. A cozy time at your abode can bring satisfaction to your Sunday.

Scorpio: Your intuition empowers your sense of direction on Monday, so heed your inner voice. Also, a rendezvous in a serene or artsy locale will accelerate romance. You're charismatic - but easily irritated - on Tuesday. Your mystique is irresistible midweek. Love feels out of control on Saturday. Heartfelt (or naughty!) words inspire passion on Sunday.

Sagittarius: Love can be found during a group activity or through a friend on Monday, so take some time from work to socialize! A community event can bring romance as well. A cozy environment inspires passion toward the middle of the week. Combativeness may derail love on Friday. You're feeling wild and free on Saturday - but love requires a grounded approach on Sunday.

Capricorn: Networking with colleagues can bring a romantic interlude or professional opportunity on Monday. A financial door opens as well, so keep your eyes open. Passion is on fire - but still challenging - on Tuesday. Your naughty side comes out to play midweek! Restlessness can bring about a stumble on Friday and Saturday, but romance soars on Sunday.

Aquarius: Exploring a new locale or learning something new inspires romance on Monday. Love can be found while you're traveling, too. Your willful side may derail romance on Tuesday or Wednesday. An activity with friends energizes you on Thursday, but socializing brings trouble on Friday or Saturday. A natural setting inspires romance on Sunday.

Pisces: Your imaginative side inspires a sexy interlude on Monday, so be creative to rev up romance! Having friends over for dinner can bring joy as well. Your sensuality is hard to resist toward the middle of the week. Irritations can bring an explosion on Friday or Saturday, so take some time to stay centered. Your humor energizes passion on Sunday.
