Egypt - bloody unrest flares again - Cabinet offers to quit after fresh wave of protests

While back then the fall of President Hosni Mubarak and the Egyptian army's temporary take over was widely greeted, some say the latest violence stems from a lack of perceived change from the old regime.

http://www.euronews.net/ After three days of bloody protests in Cairo against military rule, Egypt's cabinet has offered to resign.

The news came as thousands of people poured into the capital's Tahrir Square.

At least 33 people are thought to have been killed in the current clashes with security forces.

Demonstrators have been taking to the streets to demand a faster transfer of power to a civilian government.




It is the largest continuous protest since President Mubarak was toppled in February.

Greece - New premier visits Brussels to fight for aid

His warning came on a visit to Brussels. Up until now, Greek conservative leader Antonis Samaras has refused to provide such a commitment.

Britain - Actor Hugh Grant accuses British newspaper of phone hacking

http://www.euronews.net/ Actor Hugh Grant has told an inquiry into UK media ethics that his phone may have been hacked by a tabloid newspaper, not owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Giving evidence in London, he said he believes Britain's Mail on Sunday accessed his voicemails before publishing a story in 2007 about his love life.

"I cannot, for the life of me, think of any conceivable source for this story in the Mail on Sunday except those voice messages on my mobile telephone," he told the Leveson inquiry.

International Aero Engines has entered into an agreement that will enable the company to play a key role in American Airlines' fleet transformation.

As a part of this pact, IAE will provide American's future fleet of new Airbus A321 aircraft with its V2533-A5 engines.

Bob Reding, executive vice president of operations for American Airlines said, "American Airlines is pleased to select the IAE V2533-A5 engine to power our new A321 aircraft. This engine has some of the best fuel, noise, emission and operating efficiency in its class and will therefore allow us to achieve significant cost savings. IAE is a terrific company and we look forward to establishing a close partnership with them as we introduce the Airbus A321 into our fleet."

The financial terms and conditions have not been disclosed.

AMR (NYSE:AMR) has potential upside of 174.8% based on a current price of $1.74 and an average consensus analyst price target of $4.78.
