Plot

A stranger helps Hilde Back escape Nazi Germany. This allows Hilde to grow up and sponsor Chris. Chris, in turn, starts his own scholarship program to help students such as Kimani, Ruth and Caroline. Director, Jennifer Arnold, makes a film about the ripple effect one small act can have. Audience members continue the cycle with their own small acts. How many people can one small act reach? What’s happening with those people today?
