If you're buying a used car in Britain this year, the best value on any forecourt is the stuff nobody will touch. Cars that cost forty-five grand new, sitting there at seven grand — and not because they're broken. They're cheap because the badge is boring, or the shape went out of fashion, or somebody told you diesel was banned.
