Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sharply attacked the Venice-winning documentary “NAZA,” accusing the film of contributing to what he described as a wave of global incitement against Jews. Directed by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, the documentary received the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival and a reported 25-minute standing ovation. The film alleges that mass civilian deaths in Gaza were routinely incorporated into targeting decisions, while Israel maintains that it has taken extensive measures to limit civilian casualties during its war against Hamas. The controversy has intensified after Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir called the documentary an attack on Israel. Israeli filmmakers have rallied behind the directors, with producer Uri Rosenwaks describing the current wave of hostility as unprecedented. #netanyahu #gaza #israel #naza #venicefilmfestival #palestine
