#Lebanon #Hezbollah #Israel - Hezbollah supports ceasefire efforts in Lebanon, deputy leader says • FRANCE 24 English

8 October 2024

Hezbollah left the door open on Tuesday to a negotiated ceasefire with Israel after Israeli forces raised the stakes in the conflict with its Iran-backed enemy by making new incursions in the south of Lebanon. Hashem Safieddine, a top Hezbollah official, was widely expected to succeed Nasrallah.
