Today was our first look at the cars on track in anger, and Mercedes has set the pace, with George Russell leading free practice 1, and Kimi Antonelli on the top of the timing sheets in free practice 2. Ferrari seem to be close behind with the other teams a bit further back. A surprise in the top 4 was Arvid Lindblad, before he has his shunt, with the Racing Bulls seemingly easier to drive around the streets of Madrid. Jake Boxall-Legge explains.
