Grocery stores from Sweden to Portugal were hit Monday by a suspected cyberattack on their freezer systems, in what the EU denounced as a deliberate attempt to disrupt the bloc's food chain.
Supermarkets in Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands were among at least eight countries affected in the incident, which came three weeks after a cyberattack caused mass disruption in French grocery stores.
Food retailers were forced to throw out produce that had spoiled or was at risk of spoiling after refrigerator temperatures soared overnight. FRANCE 24's Dave Keating reports from Brussels.

The scale of coordination of this attack is absolutely insane. From Stockholm to Palermo, whoever is behind this has shown they want to target Europe as a whole: at 21:00, 13 European countries have signaled possible cyberattacks today: Sweden As a reminder, under NATO and EU doctrine, a serious enough cyberattack can count as an armed attack and trigger Article 5 or the EU's mutual assistance clause. It is clear they want to test of our reaction. Got any idea who that could possibly be?
