eon-paradise Shanghai is one of the world’s most stunning cities, home to 25 million people, with the Bund providing a perfect view of its beating heart, the 113-kilometre long Huangpu river. Formula One, though, heads to China for the 18th time overall, its second time since the pandemic, and to explosive local interest. Last year saw Red Bull top gun Max Verstappen cruise to the Sprint and multiple safety car-affected Grand Prix wins, his first in Shanghai.
