#Fullmovie "The Legend of Tomiris" *subtitles

This is the story of the life of the great queen of the steppe - legendary Tomiris. She is destined to become a skillful warrior, survive the loss of close people and unite the Scythian/Saka tribes under her authority.

In the first millennium BC, the tribes inhabiting the territory of Kazakhstan were collectively named "Saka", which are also known as "Scythian" in European culture. The Persian sources of that time describe in detail three large groups of Saka tribes:  Amyrgians, massagetae, paradraya .

Yet it is true that  the people of the Kievian state, who came to be known as Russians, were not Scythians, Greeks, or Khazars, but East Slavs . But who were these East Slavs that were the future founders of the Russian state? When and where did they come from? To the present day these questions remain a great mystery.

Genetic studies show that Russians are relatively close to Finns and Estonians, followed by Poles, Belarusians, Ukrainians and other Slavs as well as Latvians and Lithuanians.
