Switzerland - voters have rejected a proposal to increase employees' annual minimum paid holiday entitlement from four weeks to six

In a referendum put forward by a trade union over 67 per cent said no to the initiative.
The reason being that most people thought it would hurt competativeness and threaten jobs.
