Britain's Catholic Church intesified its campaign against gay
marriage on Sunday by having a letter arguing against it read out
during Mass.Worshippers were asked to reflect on the true meaning of marriage and not to condone government plans to change the legal definition of the institution, paving the way for same sex unions
