The five member team of UN inspectors, from what is known as the IAEA, are in Tehran in the wake of Sunday's announcement that Iran will stop exporting oil to Britain and France.
Tensions continue to grow between Tehran and the West, with the EU's tightened sanctions against Iran due to begin on July 1.
Head of the IAEA team going to Tehran is IAEA Deputy Director General Herman Nackaerts who said:
