Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt and European Commission
Chief Jose Manuel Barroso have stressed the need for unity if Europe is
to solve its debt crisis.
Meeting in Copenhagen as part of the official launch to mark Denmark's rotating presidency, Thorning-Schmidt claimed her government could act as a bridge at EU level.
