Britain today - Brian Haw dies. The veteran peace campaigner loses battle with lung cancer at the age of 62. RIP

For 10 years Brian Haw conducted probably the most remarkable peace protest in the world in one of the most famous places on the planet, Parliament Square in London. In that time he became the face of the anti-war movement, having dedicated his life to opposing US and British foreign policy.
