The Reynard F89 was purchased from Pedro Salinas. After a season´s racing in the Spanish Championship it was updated to near 92 specification with 92 sidepods and 92 suspension
Half way through the season the Auriga engine was changed for the spare Minister in the hope of eliminating and electrical problem. All the wiring loom was changed as well as the electronic ignition but the problem persisted. We think that it could be the electronic revolution counter that was causing this
