TGV France-Spain fare sheets
On 19th December 2010 the new high speed line between Perpignan and Figueres, Spain, will open, offering travellers a new way to travel from the UK to Spain.
Public and Group fare sheets are now available for the international journey between Paris and Figueres. Fare sheets can be found on the Intranet, within the Spain & Portugal section of the Product pages and hard copies can be picked up from managers.

Eurostar Marne-La-Vallée Group fare sheet
The Eurostar Marne-La-Vallée Group fare sheet has been updated, following a pricing update from Eurostar. Some of the Standard class Adult and Child fares have been modified following a price decrease. Updated fare sheets are available on the Intranet and from managers, for those that use Group fare sheets.
Thalys Public fare sheet
The Thalys Public fare sheet has been updated following the introduction of a new fare called “Le Salon”. Le Salon is a separate seating area in First
class, similar to a meeting room. Updated fare sheets are available on the Intranet and from managers. Further details can be found in the Product Developments section of the Product News.
Eurostar French Connections Public Fare Sheet
The Eurostar French Connections Public Fare sheet has been updated. It was recently discovered that the BF PT02AD fare no longer exists, so this fare has been removed from the fare sheet. An updated version of the fare sheet is available on the Intranet. To save reprinting, could all agents manually cross out this fare on their fare sheets.

AutoTrain Promotion
Customers wishing to take their car to the South of France this winter can benefit from reduced prices thanks to an AutoTrain promotion. Prices are £93 one-way to all AutoTrain destinations in France, including Avignon, Nice, Fréjus and Narbonne,among others. The offer excludes Biarritz and Brive,.

The SNCF Senior Card is available at a reduced price of £47 until 31st December 2010.

Service Updates
Engineering works in Paris affecting Eurostar services: Nov-Dec 2010
From 29th November to 18th December inclusive, planned engineering works will take place near the Paris area affecting all Eurostar trains to/from Paris.
Although Eurostar will run a full schedule, please advise travellers to expect minor delays of approximately 10 minutes and plan their journey accordingly.

Artesia Overnight trains from 12th December 2010
The Paris – Florence / Rome Artesia overnight service is now open for travel from 12th December 2010 onwards. There was a delay in the opening of this service due to planned engineering works.
The Paris – Milan / Venice service is also open for travel from 12th December 2010 onwards.
Talgo Day services from 19th December onwards
The 2 Talgo Day services that operate between Montpellier and Spain may be suspended from 19th December onwards.
The trains are still appearing in the booking system from 19th December 2010 onwards, however, agents are advised not to book these trains.
Cancelled Elipsos services in January 2011
Due to engineering works in France, there will be some modifications to the Elipsos timetable for Paris – Madrid services:
Trenhotel 409 Paris à Madrid: Cancelled on Saturday 8th 15th and 22nd January 2011
Trenhotel 407 Madrid à Paris: Cancelled on 8th, 15th and 22nd January 2011.
Please note that none of the above trains have ever been on sale for the above dates.
Product Developments Using an InterRail pass to travel on the Glacier Express
The Glacier Express, the scenic train that operates in Switzerland, runs along a line controlled by two different operators, Rhatische Bahn and Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. Rhatische Bahn covers the section between Disentis and Chur, and this IS covered by the InterRail passholder fare.
Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn covers Zermatt to Disentis and this is NOT covered by an InterRail pass. A YOUTH InterRail pass can obtain a 50% discount for this line, but Adult / Child / Senior passholders cannot.
AVE Madrid – Valencia opening soon!
From 19th December 2010 AVE high speed services will start operating between Madrid and Valencia. Journey times will be reduced from 2 hours to 1½ hours. We do not yet know when tickets for this new service will go on sale. A communication will be sent out once we have this information.
Thalys Le Salon
“Le Salon” is a new seating area on board Thalys in First class that is separated apart from the other seats. The seating area has 4 large leather seats around a table and is available for a maximum of 4 passengers.
There is a new fare, called “Le Salon”, which has been added to the Public fare sheet, and the Product Fact Sheet has also been updated. They are both available on the Intranet and from your manager.
Currently the new fare can only be booked on Mosaique and the GDS. A communication will be sent out as soon as it can be booked on Euronet.
Le Salon is on sale now, for travel from 12th January 2011.
Frequency of Thalys services from December 2010
From 12th December 2010 there will be a reduction in the frequency of Thalys services operating between Paris and Cologne. There will be 5 return trains a day, instead of the current 6 a day.
On journeys from Paris to Amsterdam, the frequency of services will be increased from 9 services a day in each direction, to 10 services a day.
Reminders
Reserving Special Meals on Elipsos
Special meals, such as Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free etc, can only be pre-reserved on Elipsos for customers travelling in Gran Class compartments.
Passengers travelling in other types of accommodation on Elipsos cannot pre-reserve a
special meal. However, there is usually a vegetarian option on the menu or a fish dish.
