Office complex Dorcan Way Dorcan Swindon Wilts England Architects ASDU design John Nichols
I wanted to use glass in the circulation areas to reflect the blocks of offices.
Indiviual house at South Dorcan Swindon Wiltshire England featured in Ideal Home Magazine. Whilst I was the principal planning officer at Swindon Town Hall I had carried out the detailed design of the Eastern expansion area and on this particular area I had created a pedestrian free zone. The roads had no pavements and a pedestrian walkway/garden area ran through the center of the estate. It was unusual in that we allowed the building to be built right up to the boundary of the plot and as usual my designs featured a lot of glass, perhaps influence by Mies Van de Rohe
With this villa I tried to incorporate a modern design that respected the Spanish traditions. I used my theme of nature entering into the building as I have always done where ever possible
Art Gallery Bournemouth Gardens Bournemouth Dorset England that I designed whilst studying architecture at Bournemouth College of Art. This was influenced by the time spent in Tokyo and Kure Japan as I designed it around the Japanese mat.
