Microsoft has unveiled a major AI-focused reorganization with the launch of CoreAI, a new division that unites its developer tools, AI infrastructure, and GitHub teams to create an end-to-end AI platform.
Led by Jay Parikh, this shift aims to enhance AI-assisted development and build smarter apps with seamless integration across Microsoft’s services.
Alongside this, Microsoft released the open-source Phi-4 model, making it free for developers on Hugging Face, further solidifying its position in the AI space.
