Goldbug100 - Jacques Vert (JQV.L) "average out" at 14.948p

Sirius Exploration (SXX.L) wanting to average out at 2p last year we had also wanted to do this with Jacques Vert (JQV.L). We are still showing a paper loss on this share being a long term invester, originally being invested in a company called William Baird which for many years paid a dividend. Jacques Vert has started to pay a dividend again. If you click JQV.L this you will find this article

"Jacques Vert (LSE: JQV.L) has been something of a Foolish value favourite in the past. Whether that value remains at 15.75p per share (market capitalisation £30m) is another matter. The share price was as low as 3.25p just two years ago.

Today, the P/E of less than 6, low price to sales , negative gearing and year end cash of £13m should be taken into account along with more fashion-based judgement from the distaff side of the fence."

Taking advantage of the reports of lower Christmas sales in Britain due to the snow prior to Christmas the fund gave a limit order of 15p and within a few days we increased our shareholding by 100% at 14.948p. Today the shares are 17.55p Up 0.05

The Spanish clothing company Inditex - the owners of Zara started off as a very small clothing company. Could Jacques Vert emulate that one day?  On Bloomber this week an analyst predicts a 15% rise on stock markets this year so should be more profitable than leaving your money in the bank earning next to nothing.
