During an investigation into a mass shooting and fiery collision in Towson last week, Baltimore County Police stated Monday that they had detained a guy who had been discovered in possession of an AK-47 and a stolen car.
The shooting and collision on December 17 in Baltimore City claimed the life of a man and injured nine others. Following the shooting, county police announced that they will step up patrols in the area to provide "high visibility enforcement."
According to authorities, on December 19, officers in Parkville started a traffic stop close to Meteor Court and Cloister Road. A stolen car, an AK-47, an AK-47 magazine with ten rounds of 7.62 ammo, and a "Glock switch," which converts a semi-automatic into a fully automatic one, were discovered during the stop.
