http://www.euronews.net/ Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has indicated that her party will contest a series of parliamentary by-elections.
However, the head of the National League for Democracy (NLD) has not revealed whether she herself will compete for one of the 48 seats available.
The 106-member Central Executive Committee of the NLD voted unanimously to register the party, which was officially dissolved last year, and contest the by-elections, it said in a statement.
