واصلت الشرطة المصرية على المتظاهرين المعركة طوال الليل في وسط القاهرة مع مكالمات يقدر ب 20000 المتظاهرين تتحدى من أجل الوحدة والهدوء.
وألقى عرضا على الاستقالة من قبل مجلس الوزراء الذي عينه الجيش المدنيين على التعامل مع الاضطرابات تجدد الغموض بشأن الانتخابات الاسبوع المقبل.
