A global protest took place on Saturday, 21 May, against against U.S. agriculture group, Monsanto.
People in over 300 countries took part in the Global March Against Monsanto campaign, which aimed to highlight the fact that protesters believe: "Monsanto’s genetically-modified foods can lead to serious health conditions." (March Against Monsanto website)
