On April 30, the documentary Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Named after the wash-and-wear polymer ultra-microfibers fabric made popular by Halston in the 1970's, Ultrasuede details the rise and fail of America's first celebrity designer.
