World Stocks Recover, British Pound Bounces off 31 Year low: TheStreet

Investors are coming to work today and seeing a Brexit bounce and a pound rebound. European stocks are higher along with the U.S. markets. The British pound is recovering after falling to a 31 year low Monday. All risk assets are higher, including oil and other commodities. Volkswagen is expected to announce a settlement with the nearly 500,000 U.S. diesel owners and government regulators over polluting vehicles is said to be valued at more than $15 billion in cash. The settlement will be announced today in Washington D.C. The deal is related to the automaker installing software in cars that allowed them to bypass emission laws. The $15 billion is the most expensive auto industry scandal in history. Nike
