#havejustwatchedONtv - "Baby Moma" - trailer - Starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Greg Kinnear,

Uploaded by on Mar 25, 2008

Baby Mama (film)

Plot

Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey), a successful single businesswoman who attended The Wharton School from Philadelphia, has always put her career before her personal life. Now in her late thirties, she has finally decided to have a child of her own. Her plans change when she discovers she has a minuscule chance of becoming pregnant because she finds out her uterus is T-shaped. Also denied the chance to adopt, Kate hires an immature, obnoxious South Philly girl named Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) to become a surrogate mother for her.
.
When Angie becomes pregnant, Kate begins preparing for motherhood in her own typically driven fashion — until her surrogate shows up at her door with no place to live. Their conflicting personalities put them at odds as Kate learns first-hand about balancing motherhood and career by catering to Angie's childish needs. As if this weren't enough, Kate begins dating the local owner of a blended juice cafe, Rob (Greg Kinnear).
.
What Kate does not know is that Angie is faking the pregnancy and that the in-vitro fertilization did not succeed. Hoping to ultimately run off with her payment, Angie begins to regret the lie but continually puts off confessing. When she gets an ultrasound, she discovers she is actually pregnant. Realizing the baby is her own (with her common-law husband, Carl, from whom she is separated), Angie is forced to confess at Kate's baby shower. When Kate explains to Angie that the pregnancy test was supposed to be taken two weeks after the procedure, and that the baby could still belong to her, it drives a wedge between the two women.
.
At the court hearing to determine the maternity of the child, Angie makes an impassioned apology. The baby turns out to be Angie's. As the two women meet face to face after the proceedings, Angie's water breaks and Kate rushes her to the hospital. During Angie's delivery, Kate passes out. As she wakes up, the doctor supervising Angie's pregnancy tells Kate that she's two months pregnant (the result of her relationship with her new boyfriend). After receiving the news, she goes to visit Angie, who is holding her new baby girl Stefani, named for Gwen Stefani, aka "Stef." Kate forgives Angie and the two become best friends, ultimately changing each other for the better.
.
Angie and Kate raise their children and are in a sister-like relationship one year later at Stefani's first birthday party. It is revealed that Kate and Rob are very proud parents of a baby girl and are engaged. Although he does not get back together with Angie, Carl stays close to his daughter and begins taking parenting classes. The final scene shows Angie and Kate sitting in front of a TV with their children, watching Tom & Jerry cartoons making a reference to an earlier scene in the movie.

Would you like to look out of your kitchen window and see this wisteria in bloom in the patio?

Plant Characteristics

Wisteria is a member of the Pea family, Fabaceae (formerly Leguminoseae). The genus was named in honor of an anatomy professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Caspar Wistar (1761-1818). The genus includes ten species of deciduous climbing vines, two native to the southern United States and the others native to eastern Asia.

Wisteria are vigorous, twining vines with wide landscape usage where space permits and gardeners are committed to keeping them in bounds. Among their attributes are hardiness, vigor, longevity and the ability to climb high. They are greatly valued for their large, pendulous flower clusters that occur in the spring. Flowers are pea-like and may be white, pink, lilac-blue, bluish-purple or purple in color. The fruit is a long, green flattened pod that is not particularly ornamental. The plant climbs by means of twining stems and has alternate, pinnately compound leaves. Older, established plants may have a twisted, woody trunk several inches in diameter. Plants that have been grown from seed remain in a long juvenile stage and often do not bloom for 10 to 15 years or longer. Plants that are grafted, and plants grown from cuttings or layered from a flowering plant will usually begin flowering earlier than seedlings.

Two species of wisteria are typically grown in home gardens: Wisteria sinensis or Chinese wisteria, and Wisteria floribunda or Japanese wisteria. The Chinese wisteria is the more popular plant due to its flowering habit. It grows to a height of 25 feet or more and has flower clusters six inches to a foot in length, which open before the foliage has expanded. Individual flowers in the clusters open all at once for a very showy display. Flowers are violet-blue and slightly fragrant. Plants are most showy from early to mid-May in most seasons. There is also a white flowering form of Chinese wisteria, W. sinensis 'Alba,' which is very fragrant. Two cultivars include: 'Black Dragon,' which has double dark purple flowers and 'Plena' with double, rosette-shaped, lilac flowers. Chinese wisteria may bloom within three to four years after planting; however, the juvenile period may be much longer.

"The Pipe" trailer - in UK Cinemas Friday 27th May 2011 - Directed By: Risteard O'Domhnaill

Uploaded by on Nov 8, 2010

'The Pipe' set for general cinema release on 3rd December 2010 at cinemas nationwide. See www.thepipethefilm.com for details

Synopsis:

In a remote corner of the West of Ireland sits Broadhaven Bay. It is the perfect picture postcard, where the high cliffs of Erris Head and the Stags of Broadhaven stand sentry at the mouth of the bay against the mighty Atlantic, as if protecting the delicate golden sands of Glengad beach and the tiny village of Rossport, which nestles behind the dunes. However, this peaceful tranquility belies the turmoil that lies beneath, and the unique nature of the coastline which has sustained generations of farmers and fishermen, has also delivered to Shell Oil the perfect landfall for the Corrib Gas Pipeline.
.
‘The Pipe’ follows 3 members of this small community from a quiet rural life to the arrival of Shell into their community, and the fear and anxiety which the impending project brings. Not only are they flung into a tumultuous struggle with Shell and the state, but they are also forced to battle with elements within their own campaign who seek to divide and control, as their community is torn apart by the stresses of choosing to support or oppose the oil company. Yet, despite the seriousness of the events surrounding them, their resilience and humanity never wains, and even in their darkest moments their wit and humour has an uncanny ability to counter the despair.
.
In the most dramatic clash of cultures in modern Ireland, the rights of farmers over their fields, and of fishermen to their fishing grounds, has come in direct conflict with one of the worlds most powerful oil companies. When the citizens look to their state to protect their rights, they find that the state has put Shell’s right to lay a pipeline over their own.
.
The Pipe is a story of a community tragically divided, and how they deal with a pipe that could bring economic prosperity or destruction of a way of life shared for generations.

"The Four Times" trailer - in UK Cinemas Friday 27th May 2011 - Starring: Giuseppe Fuda, Bruno Timpano, Nazareno Timpano

The Four Times
Directed By Michelangelo Frammartino

Michelango Frammartino in "The Four Times," a wordless portrait of the cyclical nature of rural life in a tiny, southern Italian town.

The first part of the film centers on an elderly, dying goat-herder. The director spends as much time on the man as the herd, and the silent contemplations of both are equally riveting. While numerous moments evoke smiles, one particularly "awww" inspiring scene comes at the unexpected birth of a baby goat, right after the death of the goat-herder, who is replaced by someone younger but also nameless, as daily routine continues in the community, along with group events like religious celebrations and Christmas gatherings.

There are also numerous, lingering shots of the forests and rocky landscapes (the plants and minerals) of this area not far from the Ionian Sea. It is like watching existence behind the scenes. Frammartino has stopped to smell the roses, trees and fields that not long ago at all made up life as we know it, yet which now has been buried or lost forever under layers of modern, man-made constructs.

We also are reminded that actual recycling happens naturally through, well, the cyclicality of nature. What we are doing today is accumulating noise and junk and moving away from something whose poetry is inherent when we remember to think of it.

In fact, we get so sucked in by the silence and images that the communal gatherings in the small town seem like metropolitan hustle and bustle, and the people with their digital cameras and Ipods aliens visiting from a distant future.

Russell Grant's Daily Horoscopes for Wednesday 25th May 2011

.
Aries (Mar21/Apr20) You're ready to express a side of yourself you usually keep hidden. As a general rule, you prefer to appear tough and in control. Lately you've been very inquisitive. It doesn't bother you to admit your ignorance and ask for instruction. Fortunately, a dynamic teacher is poised to take you under his or her wing. With their help, you can become an expert in your desired field. Before you know it, you'll be the one teaching classes and writing books.
 .
Taurus (Apr21/May21) Going off on your own will keep your stress level down. Lately, you've been caught up in a lot of drama, especially regarding your workplace. The sooner you get some distance from this environment, the better. You don't have to quit your job, but you should go somewhere radically different from your office. Talking long, solitary nature walks will replenish your spirits and make you see the problem in a whole different light. Petty quarrels aren't worth your time.
 .
Gemini (May22/Jun21) Casting your lot with the underdog is your best bet. You're tired of pretending to be normal, when you're anything but! Hanging out with a group of renegades allows you to express your creative side to the fullest. Writing, painting, drawing, playing music, tinkering with machinery, any activity that allows you to exercise your imagination is favoured. If a friend offers to showcase your work in a gallery or business, accept immediately.

Cancer (Jun22/Jul23) Speaking truth to someone in power wins favourable publicity. You're no longer willing to look the other way at an authority figure's indiscretions. Going public with this information will cause him or her to resign, leaving you free to take their position. Although you're not thrilled about getting the job this way, you will do the position justice. For one thing, you won't use your title to take advantage of others. Furthermore, you will find new ways to serve the people you've promised to help.
 .
Leo (Jul24/Aug23) Exploring new ideas helps you recover from a serious disappointment. While you can't help but mourn this setback, it makes you excited to start a new chapter. Joining a class will put you in contact with a lot of interesting people who share your interest in science, technology and electronics. It's nice to have a mysterious subject de-mystified. Once you learn the basics, you'll be able to launch a blog, design a website, or even write a phone app.
 .
Virgo (Aug24/Sep23) Letting go of a grudge will be liberating. In the past, you gave a lot of energy to a wound a bully inflicted on you. Now you're happy to realise you have fully healed. This will give you a chance to accept new challenges. Apply for a high powered job that appeals to your intellectual side. Being able to solve problems, devise new products and communicate with large groups of people will bring out the best in you.
 ..
Libra (Sep24/Oct23) Forming an unusual alliance opens new doors for you. Your partner is able to get an audience with people who were previously unavailable. Once the initial contact is made, you can use your charm to promote a business, raise money for charity, or provide training for people in need. If you're embroiled in a legal matter, you will be offered a generous settlement. Pay no attention to opportunists who urge you to ask for more. Be content with this stroke of luck and move on!
 .
Scorpio (Oct24/Nov22) Mixing up your fitness routine will be exhilarating, resist the urge to fall into a sedentary routine. Even going for a walk on your lunch hour will make a huge difference to your energy level. Swimming is also a good choice for a Water Sign like you; splashing around in the pool feels more like play than work. Last but not least, sex is a fantastic way to burn calories. You're an extremely passionate person and need an outlet for your desires.
 .
Sagittarius (Nov23/Dec21) Taking up a new hobby gives you a sexy sparkle that turns a few heads. Astronomy, scientific research, electronics…there will be a futuristic aspect to your pastime to lift your spirits. You want to look forward, not backward. Fortunately, your interest will put you in contact with someone who will play a very positive role in your life. Together, you will start a business, collaborate on a book, or even fall in love. You'll instantly feel the chemistry between you.
 .
Capricorn (Dec22/Jan20) Memories wash over you like a tremendous wave. Take this opportunity to write everything down, while the images are clear. You can turn these scenes into a powerful story or memoir. Alternatively, you can use them to create a service or product that solves a problem you experienced as a youngster. You're a lot more creative than you realise. Now your imagination has been jogged, it will feel as if you've discovered a sixth sense. Everything is coming up roses!
 .
Aquarius (Jan21/Feb19) Unusual circumstances will shake up your daily routine. Don't be surprised when you cross paths with someone who makes your pulse pound. Ordinarily, you'd never have an occasion to meet such a character. It looks like fate has brought you together. If you're already in a relationship, you will receive good news about a birth, a youngster or a creative project. You're gratified to know your dreams are finally coming true. This is your reward for having taken a leap of faith.
 .
Pisces (Feb20/Mar20) This is a great time to buy new electronic gadgets. A new television, computer, phone, or entertainment system that was previously too expensive is now within reach. Do some research before going shopping, so you'll be able to talk knowledgably about which models you want to explore. If your home needs to be renovated or redecorated, call a professional. You'll get a lot for your money and add value to the place in the process.
.
