Plot
Laadli Laila is a love story of a different kind: the love between a man and his pet, in this story, a beautiful goat, Laila. The owner of Laila is Kalyan Singh, a middle class farmer, representative of a unique class born to live with its own burdens and responsibilities. In the very fast changing world around him, Kalyan Singh is trying to keep his head above water against all odds.
His love for his pet goat Laila ,comes even before his love for his family. After many treatments Laila finally comes on heat. All he wants is to let his pet have a baby, the natural way. The search for a billygoat begins immediately, as goats don’t stay on heat for a long time! unfortunately for Kalyan, it had to be a day when a big leader is supposed to come to his small town. In spite of various restrictions put by the authorities, Kalyan doesn't want to miss this opportunity to get Laila mated in a natural way.
On his way to look for a billigoat, the surreal incidents that happen around him play an active role in shaping the fate of Kalyan Singh. His love for Laila is put to the test . Things take a turn when the authorities confine his goat.
